Frequently Asked Questions

  • Sessions are $250 for a 50-minute appointment, whether you’re coming in as an individual, a couple, or for coaching. I don’t work directly with insurance, but I’m happy to provide you with a superbill, which is a detailed receipt you can send to your insurance company to see if they’ll reimburse you for part of the cost. Payment is due prior to the start of your session via Venmo or Zelle.

  • Think of therapy as looking inward and backward—understanding how your past experiences, patterns, and emotions are affecting you now—while coaching is about looking forward and moving toward specific goals. Therapy may involve diagnosis and treatment of mental health concerns like anxiety or depression, and because of licensing laws, is only available to clients located in my licensed state of California. Coaching is future-focused, doesn’t involve diagnosis, and is available to clients nationwide. Not sure which is right for you? We can figure that out together in a free consultation.

  • All of my sessions are virtual. This means you can join from your home, office, or anywhere you have a private, quiet space and a good internet connection. My only request: somewhere you feel comfortable talking openly without interruptions.

  • I am licensed to practice as a clinical psychologist in the state of California (PSY 27116), which means that I can only see clients who reside in California in my role as an individual or couples therapist. However, in my role as a coach, I can see clients who reside in any state within the US.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give me at least 24 hours’ notice so I can offer your spot to someone else. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee.

  • It depends on your goals and what works best for you. Many clients start weekly or bi-weekly, then space sessions out as they start feeling more grounded and confident. We’ll decide together what pace feels right.

  • At this time, I work exclusively online. This allows for more flexibility and means you can meet with me from anywhere that feels safe and private.

  • For therapy, I specialize in couples work and also see individuals navigating anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. For coaching, I often work with clients facing life transitions, burnout, perfectionism, or career changes. If you’re unsure whether your situation fits, reach out—if I’m not the right person, I’ll do my best to point you toward someone who is.

  • The best way to find out is to talk. I offer a free 15-minute consultation where we can discuss your goals, I can share how I work, and we can see if it feels like a good match. The right fit matters—therapy and coaching work best when you feel safe, understood, and supported.
